The GOP currently operates on the ground at several project sites in Malaysia.
At each GOP project site, APE Malaysia has developed positive relationships with local partners, among them: government agencies, NGOs, the community and charity organisations. Each programme within the Great Orangutan Project has unique features supported by respective partners through the knowledge and expertise of the local community and the employees of partner organisations.
We have developed working relationships that allow WOX to introduce positive changes while maintaining the integrity of the local community, upholding local government policies and adhering to global standards in animal and environment protection.
